President's Welcome
Dear everyone,
I would like to welcome you to the online home of Durham University Law Society.
As one of the largest and most active student societies in Durham, we are committed to providing a wide range of academic, careers and social events for those interested in the legal industry i.e. our members. The society is run by the executive committee, a group of elected students who run and organize events such as exclusive law firm open days and wine tasting sessions at Durham Cathedral to interactive careers skill sessions and cruises around Durham.
The highlight of our social event calendar is the Annual Law Ball, a magical evening which our new Ball Chairs are already working hard at. Starting from the Easter term, we shall be bringing you various opportunities to not only meet professionals operating in the legal sector but also students from other colleges after the stressful exam period including our infamous Annual Garden Party.
If you have any questions or queries then please do not hesitate to contact me or any of the other members of the Executive committee anytime. We are here to help you in any capacity so please do use us.
