Welcome to Durham University Law Society, one of the oldest and most popular societies in Durham!

The Law Society is open to all students and has two main objectives.
 
Firstly, we hope to maximise career opportunities available to members by giving them a chance to meet and establish relationships with firms in a relaxed and informative setting. 

Additionally, we seek to provide an opportunity for members to interact with fellow students from other years, colleges and degrees in a social environment outside lectures and tutorials.

This year we’re aiming to be bigger and better than ever. We have all the usual popular social events and a number of careers and human rights and academic events, so keep an eye on the website and your email accounts for the latest event information.
